HOW DO I MAKE MY RESERVATION ?

Booking with our agency is done electronically and in a few minutes. When you are ready to book, enter your dates on our website, select the apartment you wish to book, then press "Book Now". We will answer you as soon as we receive it and confirm the booking details.

You can pay with your credit card, with a 2% surcharge for fees. This method is available via a Societe Generale secure link that we will send you by email, in order to provide you with the most secure online payment method currently available.

WHAT ARE THE ARRIVAL/DEPARTURE HOURS ?

Arrival times are agreed upon by appointment between 4pm and 7pm.

Appointments must be made at least three days before the arrival date. They must be confirmed at the time of arrival at the train station, at the airport, or in case of travel by car one hour before the scheduled arrival. A final call will have to be made once at the rendez-vous point.

Departure times are between 9 am and 10 am in the morning.

In case of arrival or departure outside the opening hours of the agency (Monday to Saturday 9am - 7pm) a supplement of 40 euros will be charged.

IS CIVIL LIABILITY INSURANCE COMPULSORY ?

Cancellation insurance:

If you take out cancellation insurance, you will receive a full refund of the sums paid by Albinet, our insurer, regardless of the cancellation date. You can take out this insurance by following this link: cancellation insurance If you have not purchased cancellation insurance, the cancellation fee is the amount of the deposit up to 30 days from the date of arrival, and the full amount of the rent after that date.

Civil liability insurance

The hirer is liable for all damages arising from his actions, he is obliged to be insured by a civil liability insurance contract. A certificate of insurance will be requested from the tenant upon arrival. Usually, home insurance contracts include a holiday clause, which covers this type of risk. If your multi-risk home insurance contract includes a holiday clause, your insurer will quickly issue you with a certificate for the duration of your stay.

HOW TO RECOVER THE KEYS TO THE APARTMENT ?

Many rental agencies ask you to go to an agency to collect the keys of your apartment. This is not the best option for you, sometimes the agency is far from the apartment and if you are not familiar with the area, it can be difficult.

To make your arrival as easy as possible, with SERRE CHEVALIER HOLIDAYS, you will receive the necessary instructions to meet our hostess. She will bring you the keys and provide you with all the necessary information concerning the functioning of the apartment and the discovery of Serre Chevalier.

WHAT IS THE WARRANTY DEPOSIT AMOUNT ? HOW TO SETTLEMENT ?

You will be asked for a security deposit, it is necessary in order to cover possible damages. The amount of the security deposit varies according to the apartment you choose.

It is payable at the time of booking, by cheque (drawn from a French bank) or in cash for those who do not have a cheque.

EVERY EXPENDITURE TO BE PAID ADDITIONALLY ?

The rental price includes

  • - Reception during opening hours
  • - The household
  • - The supply of household linen (sheets and towels)
  • - Wifi and television
  • - Electricity, water, heating

It does not include

  • - Possible bank charges, sending and/or receiving expenses

The guest must also have left the apartment in good condition, so it is advisable to:

  • - Leave dishes clean and tidy (dishwasher empty)
  • - Empty the garbage by respecting the selective sorting in the containers provided for this purpose, located on the public road.
  • - Take the sheets out of the beds and place them folded on the beds

WHAT SHOULD I DO IF I AM LATE FOR MY ARRIVAL ?

If your arrival is delayed, please notify your host as soon as possible by telephone. Don't forget to keep the host contact information while you are traveling.

CAN SERRE CHEVALIER HOLIDAYS CHANGE THE TERMS OF MY RESERVATION ?

In the event of cancellation due to the owner for a major reason which would not be due to him such as fire, flood, landslide, collapse or any other reason making it impossible to use the apartment under normal conditions, all sums paid by the tenant would be paid in full to him and the tenant waives any recourse against the owner.

HOW SHOULD YOU BEHAVE TO BE ON GOOD TERMS WITH YOUR NEIGHBOURS ?

Living rules must be respected during the stay:

  • - Respect its neighbours and maintain the best possible relations with other cottage residents (politeness and discretion).
  • - Do not smoke in the apartment or common areas
  • - Respect the number of authorized persons and/or the maximum load indicated in the elevators (if any)

DOES MY SERRE CHEVALIER HOLIDAYS APARTMENT HAS INTERNET ACCESS ?

All our rentals are equipped with Wireless Broadband Internet. You can use it as you wish.

WHAT HAPPENS IF I LOST MY APARTMENT KEY ?

If you lose your keys and can no longer enter the apartment, a member of our team will move as soon as possible to open you, the trip will be charged 20 euros (40 euros after 7pm and Sunday). Each set of keys not returned on the day of departure will be charged 100 euros.
